The Reluctant Dragon - Braxton
Playing Braxton in The Barter Players’ world premiere of The Reluctant Dragon was one of the most challenging, and therefore most rewarding, roles of my career thus far. The show follows Braxton as he befriends a local limerick-loving Dragon, who was once thought to be an awful beast, and meets his idol, Saint George, a dragon slayer who wishes to retire and write poetry. Alongside Braxton and his new friends, we learn the importance of celebrating our differences while also acknowledging that we may have more in common than we had once thought possible!
This role pushed me to explore new methods and tools as an actor and I know I will carry and expand upon the tools Braxton gave me for years to come!
